Until The World Surrenders

The Self blossoms from silence
dreams autonomous and whole
Beautiful the last gasp, so aware and precious
sacred and only
Designed specific and birthed clean

Our justices are transient and therefore nonexistent
we race to the end with what we decide is ours to own
greater pretensions to mask this mortal dread
we should not be known or named by this
Would this poison be cruel, that we may realize

Thing to pile on top of other things
Halved by half we could remain buried
cannibalized by others as we cannibalize others
breeding more and more
for the purpose of excretion and to no other end

In our righteousness we forget what sometimes shimmered
is sometimes gold, resplendent in our pride
We were the Kings and Queens of Gods and Men
sweeter stilled and hidden
A loftier gaze breathes Heaven downward

With desperate sounds we connect to anything
let it stick with mortal flair
seized and held til all is but weight
drunk on foreign maps and design
Not one moment solely kept

Can we stand and see it all as it should be
to feint fearless with valiant sureties
A reminder of our sacred gifts
Eyes maddened and bruised
speckled film perforated revealing some hint to a time
pure of purpose reason and justice

 looking past the tragic scope
 Transplanted people refurbished and hobbled
So We are kindle without flame
Our pities sanctioned by A parliament of pleasantry
By A strangers hand all forgiven or buried

So we dig deep in secret gardens
Faith for faith in our time of dirt
clutching without holding as
Our plans lie folded and kept unrevealed to a truant future
What is desired least, ours is forfeit most

So Shattered dearest one
Lets us be ruin
Homeless and Estranged for all time
we will sing the song of endings
through mouths embittered and dried

Until the World surrenders us wholly
and we are married to void and deserving of remission
as seen for so long but never side to side
time is patient, where we can never be
our sighs will give birth to a new age of tears
